Shauna’s love for hair includes both the creative and technical sides of seeing it all come together.  She wanted to be a stylist who understood her clients’ needs and could be a key part in their exciting transformations.  She obtained her education from San Diego City College and has been licensed since 1999.

Her early education came as an assistant to Master Stylists with some Solana Beach salons, including Four Seasons Aviara.  She now works with her own assistants in helping them to become strong stylists.  A part of our salon from 2000 – 2004, Shauna re-joined Studio 158 in 2007. 

Some of Shauna’s advanced education includes extensive training with Pureology, Eufora, Joico, Paul Mitchell and Redkin, and she is a certified color specialist.  Additionally, she has an advanced cutting certification with American Crew, bridal make-up classes with M.A.C., and training in hair extensions.

She has fashion show, photo shoot and other on-location event experience.  She appreciates integrity, is professional and organized but embraces change.  Thriving on staying current with new styles and color, she also welcomes new clients. 

Shauna offers haircuts, styles, color, highlights, dimensional color, hair extensions, facial waxing and make-up for all events.  Passionate about her career, she is committed to giving her clients an experience that surpasses even their expectations, and keeps her clients confident in their own ability to re-create their style at home.
